01 / Five days together

Five days. One goal. One community.

At 1:00 PM Norwegian time on Thursday, October 22, we kicked off what would become 122 hours of continuous livestreaming. Our ambitious goal was to reach Master Prestige as quickly as possible in Call of Duty, alongside major international players and organizations.

But this was about more than a place on a leaderboard. We wanted to show what the gaming community can achieve when people come together for something bigger than the game itself – while raising money for the Norwegian Cancer Society.

Up to twelve people from across Norway contributed throughout the event. Some spent hour after hour playing, while others handled production, planning, technical operations and everything behind the scenes.

There were long nights, very little sleep, sore hands and some tough moments. But there was also plenty of laughter, support from friends and family, and a team spirit that carried us all the way to the finish.

“This was about more than gaming.”

Our goal was to demonstrate what players, creators and supporters can accomplish when everyone works toward something meaningful.

02 / The result

From Norway to 4th in the world.

When we finally reached Master Prestige after 122 hours, N3 Esports had secured fourth place on the unofficial international leaderboard – ahead of both OpTic Gaming and Nuke Squad. For us, it proved what determination and teamwork can achieve.

It was about more than outperforming big names. It was about showing what a Norwegian team can achieve on an international stage.

03 / The fundraiser

NOK 30,000 for a cause that matters.

While the competition was intense, one goal mattered even more: raising money for the Norwegian Cancer Society (Kreftforeningen). Viewers followed our in-game progress and the fundraising total throughout the livestream.

Friends visiting the stream

Friends, family, fellow gamers and supporters stopped by to cheer us on, share the stream and donate. By the end of the marathon, we had reached 100% of our fundraising target.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared, watched or simply dropped in to say hello. As much as fourth place means to us, this achievement may mean even more.

04 / Stikkontakten Gamingsenter

More than competition. Gaming brings people together.

One of the most meaningful parts of the project was our collaboration with Stikkontakten Gamingsenter in Oslo. Before the event, we visited to meet the young people, introduce N3 and explain the challenge ahead. We wanted to give them a behind-the-scenes look at how an esports organization operates.

On Saturday, October 24, we returned for a hands-on workshop. The young participants learned how to set up and run a livestream, and how the equipment and production work. Then it was time for two Counter-Strike exhibition matches against N3’s Call of Duty players.

And Stikkontakten absolutely had the upper hand! Both matches were streamed on Stikkontakten’s Twitch channel and shown on N3’s main channel. Afterwards, some of the young participants told us they had never experienced anything like it – and would love to do it again.

05 / What comes next

This is only the beginning.

For us, Race to Master Prestige was much more than five days in front of a screen. We competed alongside internationally recognized names, raised NOK 30,000 for the Norwegian Cancer Society, and created new connections and memories with the young people at Stikkontakten.

We want N3 to become more than a competitive esports organization: an inclusive community where young people can build confidence, develop skills, form friendships and discover new opportunities through gaming.

Thank you to every player, production crew member, friend, family member, donor and viewer who helped us through those 122 hours. A special thank-you to Stikkontakten and the young people who welcomed us. We hope this is the start of many more collaborations.

We build a community.
